Whenever a person hears the word mother they generally think of their own mother. Someone who is always there for you whenever you need them. And because of this, a lot of men think that every single woman in the world will be just like this. But they soon find out that this is completely wrong. The age of feminism has changed this. Women have swapped these ideals for careers and become a lot more independent. But Russian women have held on to the old fashioned mentality.
Although this could be generalizing, for the most part it is true that Eastern people have different mentalities compared to Western peoples. The Eastern attitude is still very much like it was of Western people long ago in the past. It is wrong to say that every person from a country is exactly the same but Russians do share personality traits. In the women it's these traits that make them the most sensitive and caring in the world.
When you look at the history of Russia the women have always stood out. Without women, the communities and families would not have withstood all the hard times they have had to face. And it's in times like those that a persons true character will come out. Their culture is thought to be one of the most caring and protective in the world. And this is why Russian hostesses have gained the reputation of being the most hospitable there is.
A contributing factor to this mentality is communism. All of the older generation were raised in a communist country which gave them very strong family values. As well as this, they were raised to believe in giving to the community, responsibility and self dedication. They believe that giving help to others is the most important thing they can do, even more important than themselves. And these values have been, and will continue to be, passed down from mother to child.
A lot of women in Russia are treated very badly by men. The men grow up benefiting from the good nature of the women and begin to take them for granted. A Russian wife, as well as working from eight to five every day, is expected to take care of the kids, cook all the food and clean the home all on her own.
Western influences are increasingly finding a way into Russian culture. And as this happens, the women are beginning to see that men's attitude to women is much better in the Western world. The stories of Russian women making comfortable and happy lives in other countries are becoming more and more common. Almost all have a friend, or a friend of a friend who is currently living abroad and could not be happier.
The women of Russia, when they hear these stories of love and romance, are starting to realise that they deserve to be treated much better than they currently are. When treated kindly and with love and affection, they quickly become the most dedicated and appreciative wives who live solely for their husbands.
