In general, there are four types of weddings: informal, semi-formal, formal, and very formal. You can have a hard time on making a choice. But sometimes, under a limited budget, your choice is limited too. Now, I'd like to help you to making decisions on what kind of wedding to arrange.
Normally, your economic state determine whether it is possible for you to hold a formal one. If you budget is very limited, you have to give up a luxurious wedding. A informal wedding will make you easier on budget. It costs little and is usually reserved for family member and close friends. The only people present may be the bride, groom, and witnesses. As a informal wedding, the location is flexible, such as beach, chapel or at home.
A semi formal wedding gives many of the advantages found with a formal wedding but is much more affordable. A semi-formal wedding is usually a small and private affair, and often held during the day. The newlyweds normally have a few number of guests, including family member and friends. There also a reception, but they don't supply full catering and cash bar, only provide some finger foods.
A very formal wedding cost a lot. You will probably need the assistance of a professional wedding planner to run the reception, and can expect to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a very formal wedding. A very formal wedding is like a society affair, on which even the guests are required to wear formal attire. This kind of wedding should be held in grant churches or luxury hotels.
If you want a formal wedding but can't afford a very formal one, then you can choose a smaller and less luxurious formal wedding. A formal wedding is also held in a church and the bride needs to dress in a formal bridal gown. This event will include all the element of a traditional wedding, such as formal wedding party attire, a decorated church or hotel, gifts for the bridal party, dance with wedding band, a reception with wedding table decorations, and the like.
Your life stage or state determines the way your wedding will be. Older couples working on their second or third wedding, usually choose quieter affairs that require less fuss and expense. If you are young and this is your first wedding, you will probably be more excited about having a very formal or formal wedding, especially if your parents are taking the bill.
